The best drinks to mix with vodka are soda, fruit juice, tonic water, ginger ale, soda water, squash, and energy drinks. There are numerous drinks that can be made using these mixers and vodka. Cola – Coke Cola, Pepsi. Lemonade – Schweppes, Fanta Lemon, San Pellegrino.
Vodka is traditionally made by distilling cereal grains or potatoes that have been fermented. Generally, rye and wheat varieties are usually considered higher quality, and therefore you’ll find these bottles to be higher in price point. Bad vodka is just poorly made, but good vodka doesn’t have to be expensive.
For common distilled spirits, such as whiskey, vodka, gin, rum, and tequila, the general rule of thumb is to store them at room temperature. Though some experts say the ideal range is slightly lower, between 55 and 60 degrees. Keeping them in a relatively cool place preserves them longer.
The rule we use is: If it’s under 15% alcohol or if the base is wine, it goes in the fridge once it’s open. Spirits like whiskey, rum, gin, vodka, etc. don’t need to be refrigerated because the high alcohol content preserves their integrity
